The "BOSS" is a knee joint that uses carbon fiber reinforced resin in its knee frame. It employs a load brake mechanism with minimal play and noise. Additionally, the range of adjustment for load brake sensitivity has been broadened, allowing for reliable braking necessary during prosthetic walking training, as well as complete release of the brake without any play.
